Strengths

  • much better FX rates and lower fees than your high street bank

Weaknesses
  • None

  • For example sending CHF to Wise to make a USD transfer, you start from Send and you'll end up with a quote screen. Once you specify the method of payment and the currency pair, Wise will be able to fix a competitive rate:


  • the final stage is a screen like this, which contains the required payment information. Log in to your local bank and make the exact same transfer. Wise will then pick it up from the agent bank and then pay out the amount that they quoted on the first page:
